Art In Bloom

There is an annual late winter event at the art museum called Art In Bloom. Master flower arrangers make creations inspired by individual works throughout the galleries. There are usually a couple in the contemporary wing that are particularly interesting. I'm not sure, though, if the softness and hardness here make a good match.

It is perfect. Our museum also has Art in Bloom in April. Despite the crowds, I faithfully attend to see how the florists match their creations to the art work.

Looks like an interesting arrangement for photographers.

That's a beautiful arrangement. This has always been one of my favorite events at the Phoenix Art Museum but, I asked last week when I was there when it was scheduled for this year and they told me they won't have one this year. Apparently the company who coordinates the event has decided not to do it any longer. I sure hope they can find someone else to do it so it can get done next year.

The arrangement certainly is pretty!

I've seen Sharon's posts from the event in Phoenix and always thought how wonderful the idea was. Glad to see it is happening other places.
